On Thursday, October 2, 2025, Break Free will host its 3rd Annual Fundraising Event at the Turvey Centre. We promise an evening filled with laughter, inspiration, and community spirit.
This event will transport guests to a classic era of sharp wit and mesmerizing performances. Featuring internationally acclaimed ventriloquist Michael Harrison, the event promises unforgettable entertainment, a delicious BBQ buffet, a silent auction, surprise giveaways, and meaningful moments showcasing Break Free’s impact.
All proceeds directly support our programs for vulnerable children, individuals, and families in North Central Regina. Your support will help provide food assistance, after-school programs, mentorship, and life-changing opportunities to those who need them the most.

Michael Harrison – Ventastic
Michael Harrison is an award-winning ventriloquist, puppeteer, and comedian based in Victoria, BC, renowned for his high-energy show Ventastic, which has captivated audiences of all ages around the globe for over 30 years. Known for turning ventriloquism on its head, Michael blends original puppets with inventive routines in a show that’s as hilarious as it is unforgettable.
A lifelong entertainer, Michael has performed alongside major names like Kelly Clarkson, The Muppets, and Boyz to Men. His career spans the world’s most prestigious stages, including headlining performances aboard Disney, Royal Caribbean, Princess, Norwegian, and Crystal Cruises. He’s also brought his talents to premier venues like the Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center in New York and The Bellevue Grand Ballroom in Philadelphia, as well as top comedy clubs and festivals such as Catch a Rising Star (NYC), Yuk Yuk’s (Canada), and the Hong Kong Comedy Festival. He’s a frequent headliner at luxury Caribbean resorts including Atlantis and Sandals.
Michael rose to new heights with his appearance on America’s Got Talent, earning rave reviews from the celebrity judges. His television work includes writing and starring in the award-winning series Kids in the Firehall (Bronze Apple Award Winner) and leading the reality TV pilot The Dummy Test.
