The Pantry

The Pantry is our dedicated food assistance service, committed to providing quality food items to individuals, seniors, and families living in the north central area of our community. We understand the importance of access to nutritious food, and our goal is to support our neighbours in need.

To access The Pantry, individuals must complete a simple registration process, which includes providing a Saskatchewan Health card for each member of their household and a current proof of address. This ensures we can effectively serve our community and maintain accurate records.

The Pantry operates on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, offering a reliable source of groceries. We are incredibly grateful to our community partners who consistently supply us with the grocery items that make this service possible. Their generosity allows us to share sustenance and hope with residents in north central, fostering a stronger, more connected community.

Join us at The Pantry, where we are dedicated to helping our neighbors thrive.

Thank you for choosing to support The Pantry. Together, we can build a stronger, more resilient community where everyone has the chance to thrive, and no one goes hungry.

Here is a list of food items that are always welcomed:

  • Whole grain cereals
  • Pasta (canned or dry) and pasta sauces
  • Canned goods (beans, soups, and stews)
  • Meat alternatives (peanut butter, soy, assorted nuts)
  • Canned or frozen meats and fish
  • Canned vegetables and fruit
  • Bathroom tissue and diapers
  • Personal hygiene products
  • Infant foods and baby formula
  • Simple recipes

When considering what to donate, think about what you’d be comfortable serving your family. Chances are, you don’t eat food that’s past its “use-by” or “sell-by” date, so avoid donating anything past those dates as it could be unsafe to eat.

Together we will make a difference!
